The appropriate way for us to do this, should be via software collections:
https://www.softwarecollections.org/en/scls/rhscl/rh-python34/ <https://www.softwarecollections.org/en/scls/rhscl/rh-python34/>

If it is available there then we can use it, otherwise we shouldn’t otherwise we’d have problems with RHEL7 users, EPEL  is not always a viable alternative.
