According to [1], FF17 EOL is expected to be at the beginning of December 2013. 
>From this point on, I don't think that there is a reason that we should "support" 
FF17 - we will probably move to "supporting" FF24, which is the next/current ESR 
(other users can correct me if I am wrong - maybe I am missing something). 
Need to keep in mind that in the user portal we are still being "friendly" to IE8 
users, so as long as our plans for this feature (at least for the near future) are 
for the web-admin only, we are good.
