In an effort to kickstart the conversations around coordinating  event presence and setup, running a speaker's bureau where we match speakers up with opportunities, and engaging with members to seed local meet-ups, we want to get this Marketing mailing list going again.

However, given the commercial nature of the "Marketing" label, a suggestion has been made to rename the mailing list to "Events," which is more specific. Since there are not many subscribers to Marketing, and very little traffic that was archived, I am just going to take the easy way and re-subscribe everyone in Marketing to Events and then deactivate Marketing.

This note is a heads up that you will be seeing said new subscription notices to Events later today, and not think anything was amiss.
