The Fairmont is ~9 miles from Cisco; being right nearby, on the light 
rail, seems like it would be a better idea to me. Yes, Cisco provided 
free transportation, but it was free to attendees, and not necessarily 
free to Cisco :)  Of course, this is subject to room availability - the 
Hyatt Santa Clara seems to already be sold out/booked, as do a few 
others in the area....
