If he were using a "VM network" then that is possible since (currently) VM network is implemented using a bridge device, which would be named ifcfg-logicnetworkname, however if the network is not a "VM network" then there is no bridge and the device file to edit is the ifcfg-nic* file. Either way, if he would later edit that network definition through oVirt then these values will be overwritten.
