well, you can define many logical networks (each a vlan), then associate 
each with only a single VM and get this behavior.
we are planning to improve this to be a bit easier:
- remove the need to assign each logical network to each host (if you
   plan a lot and have multiple hosts, i suggest you script it)
- more permissions for users on networks
- probably not limited to be based on vlans, rather other more scalable
   isolation technologies
