It seems that there was a mistake in release notes of 3.1, because part of the code that's relevant for live snapshots<br>
didn't enter 3.1, and that can explain the problem you are experiencing.<br>
The code is present and supposed to be operational in 3.2 - you are welcome to try.<br>
