changed all except the boot/root disk to virtio. Nevertheless

unable to do the same for the boot disk itself<br>

What I've done so far:<br>

- replace all /dev/sdx entries in fstab to /disk/by-uuid<br>
- replace all /dev/sdx entries in grub/menu.list to
/disk/by-uuid<br>
- reboot the VM with these settings and IDE boot still active<br>
<br>
After switching the disk over to virtio the boot process hangs
at<br>
<br>
SeaBIOS...<br>
Machine UUID ...<br>
iPXE ...<br>
Booting from Hard Disk ...<br>
