</div></div>Just detach the storage domain (for consistency).<br>
Than you can "tar" the whole thing, maybe other methods<br>
work too, but most do not very well when it comes to sparse files.<br>
Use tar with the "-S" flag.<br>

PS: There is also a backup api and you can try to backup running<br>
vms with live snapshots.<br>
