Disks of a VM that was cloned from an existing VM *are* copies of the disks the latter.</div><div>The process of cloning a VM from an existing VM is similar to cloning a VM from a snapshot. When cloning from a snapshot we enable the user to choose a target storage domain for each disk. We don't provide this option in the webadmin when cloning from an existing VM. There is a chance, however, that it works from REST-API since both operationgs use similar parameters and the same code for creating the disks.
