<p>Be careful with the commands below, and be sure you have a good
backup.<br>

<p>I am guessing the block device is larger but not yet setup to be
used.</p>
<p>Here are my suggestions:<br>
</p>
<p>- fdisk -l to verify the disk size -- you may need to reboot
the VM for changes to the disk size<br>
</p>
<p>- add a partition for the new space and/or extended the existing
partition</p>
<p>- pvcreate/vgextend/lvextend and/or pvresize/lvextend</p>
<p>- resize filesystem<br>
</p>
<p>Then the space should be available to the OS. <br>
</p>
<p>I have not read the RHEL doc you provided, and the comments above
are of course not provided with any guarantees.<br>
</p>
