Hi everyone.
Since there were no objections, I will announce today accepting the "oVirt Dashboard for DR" project for incubation in the oVirt eco-system.

Thanks,
Doron

Hi,
We've recently been asked to review the "oVirt Dashboard for DR" project[1] (temporary name) as a candidate for incubation in the oVirt eco-system.

The project has a significant value to oVirt, as it adds disaster recovery capabilities oVirt is currently missing. There are people working with the project authors to ensure their licensing fits oVirt as well as any other issue we see.

The project is authored by engineers working for ITM, who is an integrator located in Guatemala, Central America. As a part of their work they identified the need for a DR solution and came up with ovirt-dashboard which is completely open sourced.

In order to be accepted into the incubator, the project needs to be able to articulate its goals, scope and how it relates/integrates with the oVirt project. oVirt Dashboard adds a much needed functionality to oVirt and obviously clarified the aforementioned issues. Thus, if there are no objections we will announce the project as an incubating oVirt sub-project on Friday, July 1st.

Thanks,
Doron
