I'd like to propose to go with async fix for

Bug 1880171 - Upgrading host (or checking for updates) fails after 4.4.2 ovirt-engine upgrade

and release it async for 4.4.2 as soon as possible.

If you agree, I'll add ovirt-4.4.2-1 target milestone to oVirt classification.
