Hi,

The behavior of affinity labels has changed since version 4.3.6.6. The 'Implicit affinity group' checkbox is there to enable the legacy behavior, it is not visible in version 4.4 or later.

Now affinity labels do not have any direct effect, they only group VMs or hosts, and it is possible to add these labels to affinity groups instead of individual VMs or groups.
More information is in the doc text in the RFE: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1680499

To enable the implicit affinity group through API, the affinity label has a parameter "has_implicit_affinity_group".

Andrej

Hi,

Is it possible to reach the Implicit Affinity Label checkbox through the SDK? When unchecked, the label seems to have zero effect.

Kind regards,
Scott
