Hello All.

We plan to upgrade gerrit to a new version today starting tentatively at 15:00 IST (14:00 CET). However it might be postponed to a later time if we did not manage to get snapshot by that time. During the upgrade the gerrit will not be available. This should not take longer than few hours and I will keep you updated on the progress.

Please note that we plan to upgrade to the latest major version 2.12.2. First of all we hope that stability issues that we face are solved there. Besides that consecutive upgrade was required to be able to use online re-indexing limiting downtime. 

The version has the following core features:

- Significant online edit UI improvements
- New change submission workflows: Submit Whole Topic and Submitted Together.
- Support for GPG Keys and signed pushes.

Please let us know if there is anything critical that is preventing us from this upgrade.
