Yes, it is relevant, especially now that nmstate is planned for RHEL 8.1.
v0.0.6 has been released last week, I think it should get into EPEL test and we should have a copr release as well.

Please keep it for now, I will get back to it next sprint.

Have you got a feature page, design document or bug to rack why this package is needed?
