I see, so maybe this line: [[ -d /etc/dnf ]] && dnf -y reinstall dnf-conf can change to something using the new availalbe ENV variables we have? To check if you're on EL or Fedora?
e.g: if [[ “$STD_CI_DISTRO” != “el7” ]]; then ( or = fc* ? )
dnf -y reinstall dnf-conf
