David, can you create this?--On Wed, Sep 30, 2015 at 6:28 PM, Juan Hernández <jhernand@redhat.com> wrote:Hello,
As you probably know the oVirt Engine uses a custom Maven plugin to
build the JBoss modules that are used during runtime. This plugin is
currently part of the engine repository.
In version 4.0 of oVirt this plugin will also be needed by the SDKs and
the CLI, so ideally we need to have it available in Maven Central, and
to do that it is more practical to have its own git repository and its
own release cycle. Thus I'm requesting the creation of a new git
repository in gerrit to host it. The name should be the following:
ovirt-jboss-modules-maven-plugin
Initially I will be the maintainer.
The initial content will be a copy of this:
https://github.com/jhernand/ovirt-jboss-modules-maven-plugin
Once this repository is created and the plugin released and available in
Maven Central, the oVirt engine will be modified to remove the older
version, and use the one available in Maven Central, with the following
patch:
core: Use version 2 of JBoss Modules plugin
https://gerrit.ovirt.org/46868
Thanks in advance,
Juan Hernandez
