Actually due to the lack of good doc= =3D umentation for Ovirt, I was following RHEV guides along with ovirt guides a= =3D nd hence missed out this one. I followed the above link exactly(well,= =3D I think so :-) ) and still I could not get it done properly. When I click = =3D on the install plugin button using the URL http://my_ovirt_server/spice.htm= =3D l from the windows 7 machine which I was using to access the User Portal &n= =3D bsp;, it is giving me a warning message by the browser asking whether you w= =3D ant to install it or not (which is expected ). But when I click to install,= =3D nothing happens. So I manually installed using the virt-viewer exe file wh= =3D ich I had got by extracting the spice.cab file and I am able to access the = =3D console without any problem. This is OK for the time being as I can access the console from user portal after installing the ActiveX/spice plu= =3D gins manually though I would strongly prefer the deployment model whereby u= =3D sers can click and install the plugins on the fly as described in the above= =3D link.
