I think I encountered another bug in the engine:
I needed to remove a snapshot, and while I was removing the snapshot guest went down.
What happened is that the snapshot remove failed and left "inconsistent".
I think there is some issue to address.
Here are the relevant log (the engine.log (see 22/11/14 13:17:59)) and the log of node4 that was used by the engine.

Let's split this into two parts:

1. The VM went down due to a call to ShutdownVm that was triggered by the UI/API (i.e., not an "internal" call that was triggered by ovirt-engine) and has nothing to do with the remove-snapshot operation:

2022-11-14 13:18:09,279Z INFO  [org.ovirt.engine.core.bll.ShutdownVmCommand] (EE-ManagedThreadFactory-engine-Thread-168263) [37f37764-3ea6-474e-849c-324a5acd099e] Running command: ShutdownVmCommand internal: false. Entities affected :  ID
: b47de206-f8dc-48e8-9820-1a5bb10fe3c7 Type: VMAction group SHUT_DOWN_VM with role type USER

2. Remove-snapshot failed and the symptoms look similar to those that were reported in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/2122525
