What is the output of hosted-engine --vm-status ?I had a similar issue and it was an addon in my browser (as I used profile, the situation was the same on Windows and Linux :D )

Hi Michael,
From and to which oVirt version have you tried to upgrade? Have you upgraded your oVirt engine according to the upgrade guide?
Because the above error seems to me like an issue when you haven't run engine-setup after updating setup packages.
