Is there a way to convert existing oVirt node (CentOS) to be able to host a Self-Hosted Environment?
If so how can I do that?

Hi, the best option is with backup and restore.
Basically you should take a backup of your current engine with engine-backup
and then deploy hosted-engine with hosted-engine --deploy --restore-from-file=mybackup.tar.gz
