I don't see any qemu related change in ovirt-node-ng packages' list. Does this mean that the expected version to be used is still 6.0, in particulare what shipped in 4.4.9-2 such as qemu-kvm-6.0.0-33.el8s.x86_64?

Yes, qemu-kvm 6.1 has been reported buggy and 6.2 is not yet available. So we are still on 6.0.
