Ok, so what is the correct way too fix this? After change multipath configuration, should I restart engine or put something on maintenance (and then reactivate it) to be sure that every value in the DB is fixed? Can I do this change one host at time or it's better to do it on all hosts simultaneously (global maintenance)?Sent with ProtonMail Secure Email.‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ Original Message ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐Il 12 agosto 2018 4:54 PM, Fred Rolland <frolland@redhat.com> ha scritto:Vdsm requires to have "user_friendly_names no" in order to have same device names on all the hosts. On Thu, Aug 9, 2018 at 11:55 PM, dvotrak <dvotrak@protonmail.com> wrote:Environment:Ovirt version: 4.2.5Centos 7.5During a planned maintenance window, multipath configuration was changed according to the storage vendor guidelines. The new configuration modify user_friendly_names from no to yes, so the multipath -ll output changed from this "360060160a6213400fa2d31acbbfce 511 dm-8 DGC" to this: "mpathh ( 360060160a6213400fa2d31acbbfce 511) dm-8 DGC".
