If you haven’t got this resolved, log into the host and use ‘saslpasswd’ <local account> without the quotes.

Then virsh start <vm name> and use the password you set on the local account.

I’m not sure it will  work, but has worked for regular vm’s.

To get information:

hosted-engine --vm-status

 

To start the engine:

hosted-engine --vm-start
