You can kill gluster via:
/usr/share/glusterfs/scripts/stop-all-gluster-processes.sh

Of course, you can create a systemd service to do that on power off

BTW: I found similar question on Gluster mailing list and the same script was referred...
But why has not been yet integrated this kind of flow? It should be quite normal to integrate shutdown of gluster processes when you shutdown the server....
