I currently don't have a hosted engine...

I tried the usual command as you suggested, but that just says 'You must run deploy first'

Basically, I need to remove the power management configuration so that it doesn't try to validate it during the hosted engine deployment.

The command  ia pushed  to the OVFs in the shared storage ,  which the ovirt-ha-agent is reading.

hosted-engine --set-maintenance --mode=global

Modes can be : global (all nodes),  local (this node only), none (remove maintenance).
