Is it possible to use the Mellanox VFs with bridge from VMs?

My switch is configured as a trunk accepting VLAN 1000.

I configured Mellanox ConnectX-3 to create 2 VFs. 1 VF I used for iSCSI on VLAN 1000 (it worked) and another VF I set up a bridge on VLAN 1000 to use on the VMs.

What is happening is that the VM's mac hits the switch on VLAN 1000, but has no traffic.
