I originally installed a hosted engine on oVirt 4.0.x. Since then I’ve updated to 4.1. engine-upgrade-check shows no updates available:
[root@waovccm1 ~]# engine-upgrade-check

However, “yum update” shows several updates available (see below) including python-ovirt-engine-sdk4 x86_64 4.1.0-1.el7.centos. The installed version of that RPM is currently 4.0.4-1.el7.centos.x86_64. Is it safe to run a yum update on the hosted engine? Why wouldn’t engine-upgrade-check show a necessary update like that?
