You're a life savor.. Its was a permissions issues, somehow, the owner and group was assigned as root. I matched permission with the original data and it works! Cant believe I missed something so simple.

(permissions?) or their metadata is corrupted (but it doesn't seem so).

There is probably another Traceback in the logs that should give us more
information.
