Hi Dwayne,

Usually the "latest log" in /var/log/ovirt-hosted-engine-setup can tell you why engine setup failed.

Or in that folder, you can issue

$ grep ERROR *

And from the output, locating the last one, you should know what stops your engine deployment.

Which log in that directory would help the most (there is lots). For some reason I can’t get the engine up, Im running Ovirt Node 4.4.

Hi dwayne,

Have you checked the latest logs in /var/log/ovirt-hosted-engine-setup on your host? Usually you can find some clues from the latest logs.

I've installed ovirt node (fresh 4.4) and am trying to deploy engine and it fails each time. seems to be in a loop. I seen this in RHV 4.3 and it was due to IPV6 being enabled. Any help us appreciated.
