oh, the export of the VM failed too, when I checked this morning, it apparently had no disk !?
what's going on here ? how can I clearly use a VM that has a disk, but the system doesn't seem to know about it ?

The error in engine.log only says this:

There is nothing special coming up in the vdsm.log / to filter out debug messages, i've changed log levels to INFO and higher earlier today - still, when this error occurs, the only message I can see in vdsm.log are the usual "can I write to the storage domain" ones ..

Any help please ?FWIW, I am able to export the host to the export domain.
