For some reason my browser and network like to produce hiccups during the running of the hyperconverge script and the hosted engine install script. ( My prime suspect is Murphy )

This is a default feature in all browsers on any platform.

This is why I try to avoid the use of cockpit for complex matters.

( ie anything more complex than proces listing or the viewing of logs )

On the cockpit host, from what directory with which options and what playbook do I need to use to get the same result.
