Thanks for the reply.
For this issue i have setup a dns server. There is no more resolution issue. But now my browser gives only the balnk page while connecting to the admin portal.
 
1. Connecting from the same fc16 server.
2. Installed the spice-xpi package.
3. Firefox version is 7.0

There was an issue sent to this mailing list a few weeks ago with a problem in resolving localhost, so that might be your problem as well (the log will help understanding if that's the case). Do you have a localhost entry in /etc/hosts?
