Did you ever get an answer to this?  I am experiencing the same issue after:

1) Updating the BIOS on my system to the latest one
2) Installing a new 10GbE NIC

Both the BIOS update and the NIC installation completed without incident, but I am getting the exact same error. 

Any advice out there?
