If you are trying to move the disk to another domain, you should do it via the 'Move' button and not 'Edit' under the VM disk sub-tab.
I guess that by saying "move the vm" you're referring to move the VM disk right?

Hi,

Disk profile is not copied along with the virtual disk as part of disk migration between storage domains.
You can create another disk profile in the target storage domain, which is similar to source domain disk profile.
