You can try to edit the details in /var/lib/vdsm/persistence/netconf , but first make a backup of it.

I additionally had to run the engine rename service script to change the hostname of the engine as well.
My only issue now is after readding all the nodes with new hostnames my main host node 1 will not allow me to remove and re-add as a new hostname as there is a gluster volume on it.

It will not let me remove to readd because theres a gluster on the volume, have you run into this?
