Well, we solved your VM not coming up problem! Yay!

Please start a new thread for this new problem, with a more relevant subject line ("can't connect to spice console"), so people will see it. Include logs.

Did you try to fix the permissions as I suggested?

    sudo chown -R vdsm:kvm /home/DATA /home/ISO

If this does not help, we need to look at the selinux labels.

Permissions should be vdsm:kvm (36:36).

Can you paste the output of the commands in the mail?

ls -lh /rhev/data-center/mnt

realpath /rehv/data-center/mnt/_home_DATA

Very good.

Now:

$ ls -lhZ $(realpath /rhev/data-center/mnt/_home_DATA)

^^ send the output you see

And:

$ sudo ausearch -m avc -ts this-week

^^ send the output you see

It is single host installation ( everything in Local )

Ya i tried , but same issue , please find the vdsm and engine log file.

If you want i can give you a remote access .

Ok, great. It looks like you're using a different storage path now.

Did you try to start a VM again? Try again, and if it fails, attach vdsm.log.

Much better :)

We need to run that command on your host after you setup your host and storage. Is "mrpl" your engine machine? Did you setup host and storage again yet?

Deekshith, I feel that we are miscommunicating.

First, execute this command and send the *output of this command*, not logs:

$ ls -lhZ $(realpath /rhev/data-center/mnt/_ovirt_DATA)

For example,

greg@dauntless:/home/greg$  ls -lhZ $(realpath /rhev/data-center/mnt/_ovirt_DATA)

-rw-rw-r--. 1 greg greg system_u:object_r:fusefs_t:s0  39K Feb  2  2016 '20160201 ahs.tif.pdf'

...

^^ send the output you see

Also this:

$ ausearch -m avc -ts week-ago

For example,

greg@dauntless:/home/greg$  sudo ausearch -m avc -ts week-ago

----
