Not un'chjecking "verify connectivity between host and engine" was what was hanging me up.  Unchecking that and making the changes seems to have worked.  Thanks for pointing that out!

Did you try this already?

Also worth mentioning that if you are changing ovirtmgmt, the checkbox "Verify connectivity between Host and Engine" should be unchecked. Otherwise the vdsm will revert the changes in case of any "problem".
