/usr/share/ovirt-engine/setup/ovirt_engine_setup/constants.py
Replace:
UPGRADE_YUM_GROUP = 'ovirt-engine-3.4'
With:
UPGRADE_YUM_GROUP = 'ovirt-engine-XXX'
This will make setup ignore the bad group and upgrade based on package name.
