i have a task that seems to be hung or anyway in an incorrect state

in the gui's task pane i have one task that indicates that it is launching a vm (that no longer exists)

when i expand that task it keeps on saying loading

because of this when i now launch other task they don't want to expand in the task pane

is there a way to clear this

or get it back to a correct status?
