I for some reason cannot add the ovrit node as iscsi storage. My server sits at 10.3.0.243 and you use port 3260 right? I have added it as a host fine but can not get it to detect iscsi storage.

What I am asking is on one of my nodes I have installed ovirt node it
has a designated iscsi target on install. Can I use that as a separate
iscsi storage node?
you can use it as a storage node as well for shared storage.
local storage is only via local file system

can I do it that way? My main reason is I want to use
processors and
storage.
not sure i understood the question/use case:
you can run virtual machines on the host from a remote shared
storage (nfs, iscsi, etc.) and use the local disks for anything else.
if i didn't answer, please clarify the use case.
