If I've understood clearly, your goal is to have two physical network interfaces connected to one logical network in ovirt-engine.

If this is the case, you can use bonding/teaming physical interfaces into one and then connect that aggregation to the ovirt-engine logical network.

Moreover, as Jeremy stated, you can use that aggregated physical interfaces to transfer VLANs, taking advantages on redundancy/resilience and configuration flexibility.

Generally speaking, the checkbox for "Connect to physical network" should not be needed for your example. You most likely will need to set up VLANs when you create the logical network.
