On my CentOS 7, the version of python is python-2.7.5-16.el7.x86_64, too. And I found a strange thing, why your python-threading(maybe it's python-pthreading) was for el6?

Yum says python-2.7.5-16.el7.x86_64 already installed.

Hi,
yes, it should be possible in 3.5.0 to use el7 as a hypervisor.
