Hello, Did you ever manage to find a workaround to change this parameter? I have a system that is disconnected and is unable to take a kernel update that may address this so I'm attempting the workaround as indicated in the issue. kvm.tdp_mmu is N (verified from /sys/module/kvm/parameters/tdp_mmu) but I'm getting stuck trying to figure out how to modify the qemu option "-machine smm=off" like you said.
