support for old registration URLs

During the work on http://gerrit.ovirt.org/#change,318 Dan suggested we need to support
old RHEVH which their unchangeable registration link is pointing to "RHEVManagerWeb/" .

To overcome that I thought to use jboss rewrite engine (like httpd mod_rewrite java port) and to rewrite RHEVManagerWeb to EngineManagerWeb.
Simple examples I tried on AS 5.1 didn't work at all.

Does anyone has experience with it?
