It's been a week since I sent this email, and in that time there have
been 3 edits to the page - 2 adding new features to the infra section,
and one linking to a series of UX patches for the dashboard.
However, there has been no progress towards indicating whether the
features listed as "MUST" or "SHOULD" are actually ready for
release/testing at this point.
We're less than 2 weeks from feature freeze, 3 weeks from a test day,
with no clear test plan, and no indication on this stage of whether
features listed in the "Features" section are ready to go, or are still
in progress.
If you have added a feature here in the past, please go back and add a
sub-list with any known bugs, and a line with the status of this
(planned, in progress, complete but untested, ready to go). This will
greatly assist in understanding whether features are going into the 3.3
release, or are instead candidates for bumping to 3.4.
Underneath the "No blocker bugs" and similar items, I have also added a
sub-list section where we can list currently known bugs in each
category. It would be a good idea, for example, to either link to
individual bugs or to a saved search in Bugzilla for the various
categories (release blockers, data corruption issues, etc).
Thanks!
Dave.
