[ovirt-users] New oVirt 3.4.2-1 installation - State of host set to non-operational

Dear Team,

This is my first mail to this mailing list.

I have  configured KVM on RHEL 6.4 (configured bridge interface etc.) and created 7-8 virtual machines which are working fine. I was using virt-manager.

Since I wanted some web based gui for management, downloaded all the requisite RPM's for oVirt with all the dependencies.
RPM installation went on smoothly. Ran engine-setup that also was done without issues.
I have got KVM, ovirt management and ovirt host on the same server. allinone rpm is also installed.

What I want to do :


1.       Add this host to oVirt.

2.       Add the already created KVM virtual machines to oVirt so that they can be managed with oVirt.

3.       Create future VM's through oVirt.





I started the GUI with https://<ip<https://%3cip> of the ovirt/kvm server>:443/ovirt-engine

Logged in but getting error



"state of host set to non-operational"



I have attached snapshot of my screen.



If anybody can help me or guide me will be greatful.
