ah, ok. where did they go if they are not in the repos pulled in by the ovirt-release41.rpm?

sure, but normally you do not remove things from repository, you just add new versions next to the old ones

No, I just think that modifying history is not a good idea and the repo should be as any other repo with all files available during the intended life of the release, so in this case whole 4.1.z
