Is the documentation described here up 2 date for 4.0.6 and/or 4.1?

Is live migration possible for a vm with shared disks?
The disks seem to be only raw.. does this mean that if I edit a qcow2 disk
and make it shared it will be converted to raw?
Any particular hint for usage of shared disks functionality to test RHCS
and Oracle RAC?
